Do You Struggle With Sleep?

By Cali Freyn and Ashley Reichel, Holistic Health Coaches, Neurofeedback Specialists

Millions of people currently struggle with sleep. It has been accepted by many as just part of life, and a good night’s sleep has lost value in today’s society. Adequate sleep is the foundation of health; it is the single most important lifestyle change you can make. It is a common belief that we can function on little to no sleep, but if you are not getting 8-9 hours of quality sleep a night you may be experiencing negative side effects that have the potential to seriously affect your overall health.

Some side effects could be:

-Brain fog

-Weight gain

-Anxiety and depression

-Poor learning, memory, and attention

-Reduced immune function

-Increased blood pressure

If you are experiencing some of these symptoms, or frequently rely on medications to fall or stay asleep, you may be a great candidate for Neurofeedback sleep training. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, radiation-free way to improve and sometimes correct chronic neurological conditions. Neurofeedback works by realigning brain waves to change timing and activation patterns in the brain, which results in better brain function. Neurofeedback sleep training is designed to work with the sensory-motor rhythm areas of the brain. It helps to stimulate sleep spindles in the brain by working with the left and right sides of the brain to help you fall and stay asleep.

Our program is a minimum of ten 30-minute sessions two times per week. This in-office training utilizes photic glasses paired with sound therapy. The sessions are designed to be very relaxing and may include coaching and support from our Holistic Health and Lifestyle Coaches. We will track your symptoms using a personalized progress tracker, and feedback from the client’s personal experience. We have seen great results with Neurofeedback brain training here at IM of CNY, and look forward to introducing our new Sleep Training Program!

*Please note you do not have to be a patient of IM of CNY to participate in our Neurofeedback Program*
